We Give thanks to those who are so generous with time and money . . . .
Hope Lutheran Christian School Port Coquitlam, BC – June 19th, 2012 – Two weeks ago PTL representative, Teresa McPherson invited the Hope Community to donate books, CDs and DVDs to the school in hopes of raising funds for the PTL and the Grade 6 class project of giving for charity. Over $400 was raised from this event and we thank all of those individuals who were involved in this event, it was a huge success. Half the funds raised were given to the Grade 6 class.
The grade six class decided to distribute the funds they helped raise to 3 different charities: World Vision, Canucks Place and the Vancouver Children's Hospital. $100 will go World Vision to purchase a goat, and $50 each to Canucks Place and the Children's Hospital. Way to go HOPE!!! We are blessed to have such giving people amongst us.
